Step 2: Online Consultation
After your enquiry is received, an online consultation takes place via email.
This involves a back-and-forth discussion to:
- Refine your idea
- Confirm placement and sizing
- Adjust design for flow and longevity
- Check feasibility as a tattoo
- Provide a quote or recommend the most suitable tattoo session
In some cases, you may be asked for photos of the area (especially for cover-ups, scars, or placement-specific work).
The consultation is completed online, so there's no need to visit in person before booking.

Step 3: Confirming Your Booking
Once we've discussed your design, agreed on the price and arranged a suitable date, you'll be ready to secure your appointment.
To confirm your booking:
- A £50 booking payment is required.
- For tattoos costing more than £50, this acts as your deposit and is deducted from the final tattoo price.
- My minimum charge is £50 per appointment, rather than per tattoo. For small, straightforward designs, it's sometimes possible to have more than one tattoo within that minimum charge.
- If your appointment is priced at £50, your booking payment covers the full cost, so there's nothing further to pay on the day.
- Any remaining balance is paid at your appointment.
Your appointment is confirmed once your booking payment has been received and I've sent you confirmation.
Please read the booking terms before paying, particularly if you may need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

Important Information About Your Design
All tattoo designs are created specifically for each client, and the design process can vary depending on the size and complexity of the project.
For larger original designs, such as full sleeves, I'll often share an initial rough composition so we can discuss the layout and make sure we're heading in the right direction before developing the finer details.
For smaller tattoos and more straightforward designs, you'll generally see your prepared artwork on the day of your appointment.
Finished tattoo designs aren't sent out in advance, as this helps protect original artwork from being copied or reused.
All designs are created digitally on my iPad, which allows us to make adjustments to sizing, placement and details.
We'll always review the artwork together before tattooing begins, so you'll have the opportunity to discuss any final changes.

Step 4: Appointment Day
On the day of your tattoo:
- Eat a proper meal beforehand
- Stay hydrated
- Wear comfortable clothing with easy access to the area
-
Arrive on time
If you need extra guidance, you can also read the tattoo preparation guide.
Before starting:
- We will review the design together
- Final adjustments can be made
- Placement will be confirmed
The goal is to ensure everything aligns with your vision before any tattooing begins.
